Day 1
Aberdares
Met on arrival at Nairobi Airport and transferred to the Eka Hotel to freshen up before departing for the Aberdares (180 km). Arrive at the charming Aberdare Country Club in time for lunch and proceed to the Ark
Lodge. Spend the afternoon relaxing on the deck overlooking the waterhole.

Day 2
Samburu
Drive north across the equator to the Samburu National Reserve (190 km). Lunch before a late afternoon game drive.

Day 3
Samburu
Morning and late afternoon game drives in this open savannah which is traversed by the Ewaso Nyiro River. The river is populated by hippos and crocodiles while the park is home to a host of animals including several species which are rarely seen in numbers elsewhere, including Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffes and long-necked gerenuks.

Day 4
Aberdares
Depart after breakfast and travel to the Aberdares (190 kms) and the Aberdare Country Club. After lunch enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Solio Game Reserve, a wildlife conservancy which plays a major role in the protection of black rhinos.

Day 5
Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, descend into the Great Rift Valley and continue to Lake Naivasha (200 km). Lunch followed by an afternoon boat ride on the lake.

Day 6
Masai Mara
Drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve (320 km). Arrive in time for lunch followed by an afternoon game drive.

Days 7 & 8
Masai Mara
Today enjoy an early morning game drive followed by breakfast at the camp. Then head back out after lunch to explore more of the majestic Mara's wealth of wildlife.
Alternate option for this day (extra payable in advance):
Take an early morning balloon flight over the Mara followed by a "bubbly" bush breakfast then enjoy a game drive before heading back to camp for a delicious hot lunch.

Day 9
Nairobi
After breakfast, return to Nairobi by road (300 km), or fly from the Masai Mara to Nairobi: morning flight (price on request).

Day 10
Departure
After breakfast visit Nairobi, the capital of Kenya and the Safari Capital of the World. You will have the opportunity to explore the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust orphanage and become immersed in local culture at Bomas
of Kenya. Later transfer to the airport.
Alternatively, fly directly from the Masai Mara to Mombasa, including lunch in the Masai Mara (price on request).
